53rd Annual IOLI Convention | ||||
Dentelle Quebec Lace welcomes you to Canada East for a week of French joie de vivre, downtown Montreal for this year IOLI convention starting with early registration on Saturday, July 22nd and continuing with and opening reception, lot of tables of lace treasures in the sales room and of course a lot of fun, challenging classes taught by great lace instructors from all over the world! Evening programs and lectures will also make this lace week very special. Visit the website to see registration, hotel and other events. There are 5 different tatting classes taught by 3 different teachers, and there is something for shuttle and needle tatters. |

NEEDLEARTS 2006 Presented by the Ottawa Valley Guild of Stitchery | ||||
You are invited to join us for an exhibition of our members' needlework. Various techniques and media will be displayed in artwork created by needle artists of all levels. Members will be available to answer questions and to demonstrate various needlework techniques for those interested. There will also be an original embroidery challenge with the theme 'Threads of Memory', in which some of our members will compete with their own original designs. For those of you who are also interested in quilting, Quilt Canada 2006 is being held in Ottawa during that week with many quilting-related events and the Common Threads Quilt Guild will be holding their quilt exhibit at the RA Centre on the same weekend. |

REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 30 ON SUNDAY Saturday mini-workshops - (1 1/2 hours) - indicate first and second choice - later responders are assigned to open classes - we will try to be flexible, but last minute changes probably will not happen.
